Capcomprehensive School: The Wonder Years (Admiratio Annus-working title) is a party game, filled to the brim with fun and unique mini games designed to be played by up to four people using the new Nintendo Wii's amazing motion sensing controller.

The story behind the game takes place many years ago when all the Capcom characters were young and at boarding school, there are four dorms at the school, each with a selection of themed characters from different games, all competing against each other to win the coveted 'Venatus Magnus' Trophy of the annual 'Venatus Magnus' championship.

Item Description:

This was a CAPCOM based project for the Nintendo Wii console release, as I was managing a small team to create a combined proposal & design document of gameplay ideas. We decided to work with all the existing characters published under CAPCOM and make a combined universe where they all grew up together in a secret school (like X Men).

The working prototype was rushed into a small presentation program under Director Shockwave format because of tight deadlines and no one had the proper technical expertise to make a decent working game, but instead we have produced a full list of game content. Generally I was impressed by the fact we were creating a game to a console neither of us had even played on. The closest thing at hand was a paper-mesh fold out model of the Wii remote!

In the post-morterm recap, we reallised that most of the gameplay systems on the Wii already exists because of the early release games like Wii Sports. An added revalation said it didn't mattered because most released games lacked proper originally a year prior afterwards. The following links are the design doc (most of the artwork is not mine ofcourse - I just kept things organised). Also the beta programs are merely presentation packages of quick mock-ups in Director Shockwave.
